My title is very much literal. Threw some basic stuff in my bag before headin’ to the beach (forgetting that we were planning to go to Imperial) and came up with this ensemble because I had no choice, didn’t even get to bring shoes. But hooray for Havaianas for being “flipflops” and not slippers! Glad I brought my fedora hat too, my simple outfit would be even more simple without them!


Cool self realized fact: Imperial’s Service cars have uniform plate numbers! All have a 777 number!:) At first I thought some rich guy who’s currently staying in the hotel owns them, but after seeing more than 6 white cars bearing a 777 plate, it was just impossible, haha!

Weekend Getaway Part 1

Here's a short Photo Blog of last weekend, we spent a night at Pacific Cebu Resort. Invited over a few friends for day use and spent time with family after:)

Dinner at MB's Tavern:) I missed this place!





It was a nice stay over all except for the really BAD restaurant service! Not accommodating at all, no service water, slow refills for the buffet, and just really annoying staff. I don't want to bash much so I would just like to say, we should have gone to BE Resort (that was our other option, but we remembered Pacific Cebu to be nice before. Lacked maintenance, i guess)

Sunkissed

So today was a work/pleasure day because I had a meeting with South Shores’ next 14-day Challengee—check her out here—I also picked up some stuff in South Shores and spend time with family in SM. I wanted to be professional yet laid back, here’s what I wore:

Lace shorts are love because they can be both casual and formal, wedges for professional and bright Orange for playfulness! I’m not a big fan of orange but I’m up for new things. Wordplay for my title, Sunkist comes to mind when I see orange!

Goodbye 2012. Hello 2013.

I did this last year and I want to do it again now! 2012 was had lots of surprises for me, it opened many opportunities, and I am so happy with how my life is now:) The only thing I want to improve is not the things around me, but myself. I have been saying this in my lasts post, its because I don’t think i’m being the best person I can be, I need to manage my time better, do better in school, and spend more time with people than work. So, that’s my resolution, what’s yours?:)
 

Here are some of the highlights of my year:

1.) I fell in love with Fashion! I wasn’t really a girl who loves dressing up, I just loved the comfort of a shirt, jeans, and sneakers. But this year, I found love in a hopeless place (haha! corny, i know).

2.) I ran for council under the political party that also became my nth family—SPP:) I lost but I gained a lot, and I do not regret running:)

5.) Went into Styling- I’m no expert in fashion but I’ve enjoyed dressing up and I discovered I also have fun dressing up other people:) I’ve been blessed enough to be invited to style shoots, even if i’m an amateur.

6.) 14-day South Shores Challenge. Took on the challenge and loved every bit of it:) Made me blog more too! So thankful, for this Challenge opened a lot of opportunities for me:)

7.) Fashion Blogger? I was surprised that I was called a “fashion blogger” when this blog just started as a diary for myself. This blog has blessed me a lot his year and it makes me love doing it more:) I was even invited to the opening of Comfit in Cebu, that was the biggest leap—so happy.

8.) Got even more closer with my best friend:) <3 

9.) Pasko sa USC—CAFA Week. Two events in one week, lots of organinzing and tasks to be done, and I survived it! Congratulations SSC and CAFA Organizations:)

10.) Spent Christmas as a family;) My sister being in Zamboanga and my brother working and all, we haven’t had Christmas together for a few years now, but this year is different:) PTL

Been so Blessed, Lord, thank you so much for all the blessings you have showered upon me. That was my 2012! How was Yours?

First of all, I wanna say HELLO 2013!!!! 2012 has been awesome, I will be posting some highlights on my next post, but for now, I would just like to emphasize on the thing that most people make on new year—RESOLUTIONS! I, myself made some resolutions before I went to sleep—not about everything though, just a part of my life that I want to change badly. Well, I realized that even though I believe that we should make resolutions all year round for the betterment of ourselves, new years are a good thing to remind us to strive more, to become persons we ourselves, our friends, our parents, and our loved ones can be proud of:) 

So write down those realistic resolutions to become the best person you can be and stick them in your mood board, put it in your organizer or keep it in your wallet to make sure it reminds you always:) HAPPY NEW YEAR and thank so much for reading my little blog, I don’t know if I have avid readers or not but I’m happy enough writing for myself anyways:) Cheers and have a great life ahead!!
