Skirt Trend

Maxi, Midi, Skater, Peplum, Bandage, Pencil and a Whole lot more! Owning an online shop that makes customized items means that I have to do a whole lot of research for new designs, and lately there is a whole lot of skirts going around! I'm so glad Cebuanos are dressing up more, less weirded out stares in the future:) And I love it so much, skirts are just so laid back and easy to style! Just throw on a simple top and you are good to go! Other items that are trending are skater dresses and midriffs! On to my outift:

Finals is next week! I can hardly wait, I have so much planned for sembreak! A bit nervous of my grades though but I'm gonna let tomorrow worry for itself:) Seasons fashion show was last night and since I was one of the models, I didn't get to take much photos. I'll wait 'til photos are posted and grab then compile (*evil laugh*, but I'll credit and ask of course, teehee*) That's all for now, just a little update here and there:)

Metallic + Denim

Finally starting to publish all my backlogs, here's an outfit I wore to a meeting for UNIVERCITY last month!

My new fave accessory! Round shades:)

(believe it or not) Trifted Top and Vest, WAGW Tulle Skirt, Forever 21 Sneakers, Burlington Socks, Coach Bag, South Shores Bracelet

I love this top! I was shocked when I saw it in a rack in one of a thrift store in downtown. For someone who barely thrift shops, I'm glad I scored these two (vest) in less than a 10 mins stay (I can't sand the smell of some thrift stores :( )! These "backlogs" plus my ootds for our 2-week uniform exemption. Stay tuned.

Skater Skirts

If you're a fashion-person, you would know that skater skirts are all the rage now--almost all the online shops in instagram are selling them (including ours! visit here). If you notice, in my blog, I don't really wear all things 'hip' and 'in', i like having my own style and just wing it, you know? haha. But in this outfit--Skater skirts, Denim vest, Lennon Round Sunnies, Boots! Sometimes, it's fun to go with the trend (easier, too!)

my skirt is actually a very bright shade of coral, but because of the gloomy skies, it ain't that obvious in the photos -.-


This outfit is actually very similar to my last outfit post (here) except with a different statement bottoms. I was about going to wear a necklace but decided otherwise, these pair of sunnies looks better as my accessory!

Pointillism

My top reminds me of a class I had on my first year of Architecture, pointillism--creating images through dots.

Working with a busy top like this is quite easy, just pick out a color in the top and wear it as your bottom! just like what I did in my last outfit post or you can go with print on print! Which is a little tricky, one print has to be bold and big and the other fine and small:> So medium sized prints like this are tricky to match unless its not dots your working with? Maybe some huge stripes? Floral? etc...The possibilities are endless now that there's practically no more rules in fashion!

This outfit reminds me of a Banana split--with sprinkles on top! haha.

Scarf Print

The cut-outs on this top are just so subtle that you won't even notice and be conscious that they're there! Plus the fit and the breezy cloth!  No need to accessorize that much! Score! (okay, I will stop screaming now ^^)

It was an Exposure Photographics School of Photography travel class on a (rainy but still beautiful) Sunday morning--Mother's day! My friend Alyssa (left) modeled for them and since the call time was 4am and I was the one who invited her, I went along with them, also since she didn't know the owners of Exposure yet.

I was not a model but I ended posing one for the students, -.- See how we acted as if we knew each other all our lives? haha
